What you get when you book a workshop with us:

Our prices reflect our standards.

Our tutors….
We select our tutors based on their skill, talent and passion to share their knowledge. Only the best will do.

Each tutor is interviewed and demonstrates their work to us. They must have the confidence and skill to teach their craft. Teaching a craft is very different from making and showing someone. They have to demonstrate and guide a group of people to get the best from them, that in itself is a skill.

As many workshops we run have a health and safety aspect to them, our tutors have to ensure they instruct clients correctly on how to use the tools to avoid injuries, safety is paramount. All tools and materials will have been tried and tested by the tutors to ensure they are the right quality and standard for customer to use.

To finish off the tutors we select have to be exception communicators, demonstrate patience and inspire. Not everyone can teach but our tutors can.

The location….
The converted barn offers tranquillity, an airy and warm space with fantastic views from the 3 large windows overlooking the lush green rolling countryside. The uninterrupted open views offer inspiration and provide space for thoughts and memory making. The tops of the vines can be seen from the window beckoning you to take a closer look after lunch.

A world away from the busy streets and built up areas, here you are surrounded by nothing but calm.

Ready to feel welcomed….
We appreciate not everyone feels comfortable going to new places and trying new things. That is why we have a dedicated Events Host to welcome you with a smile and a cup of tea on arrival. We help to familiarise you with the new surroundings and settle you in. There is no serving yourself as your hot drinks and delicious 2 course lunch are served to you during your day. So there is nothing for you to think about other than to focus on your chosen craft.

We have made it as easy and as relaxing as possible for you by including everything you need for your workshop. All materials, tools, refreshments and lunch are ready and waiting, so you don’t need to remember anything, other than setting your alarm to arrive on time.

Ready for food…..
Lunch is served as a 2 course plated buffet. All homemade, normally a tasty quiche with a selection of delicious salads and a tasty dessert. You will feel full but not having over-indulged to ensure you are ready to carry on making in the afternoon.

We offer plenty of breaks throughout the day to enjoy a cup of tea and homemade cake. The icing on the cake is trying the delicious locally grown wine.

How you will feel…….
By the end of your day with us, you will have finished making you piece, learned a new skill, met new like-minded people and been well fed. Experience a sense of achievement, surprised at what you have accomplished and satisfaction.

Walking away with a smile is our goal.
