Grape growing is the biggest growth sector in UK Agriculture.  The UK industry is projected to be worth more than £1 Billion by 2040 and expected to employ 24,000 people.  We are a family owned business based in the East Midlands. The family have been growing grapes since 1975 in Nottinghamshire.

Hanwell Wine Estate was planted in 2012 with the champagne varieties.  The mission to hand-craft English Sparkling Wine using the classic champagne method.  The wines are then made at ‘parent’ vineyard, Eglantine, est. 1975 known for winning International awards for ‘North Star’ dessert wine.

Rural Antics Art and Craft Workshops began in 2016. Set in a picturesque vineyard, Rural Antics offers the most extensive collection of art & craft workshops in the East Midlands. From arts and textiles to jewellery, heritage crafts, willow weaving and carving, cake decorating to photography – we have it all and there’s a workshop for everyone!
