Welcome to Rural Antics, Art and Craft Workshops
Here at Hanwell Wine Estate, we love hosting Rural Antics workshops! They enable us to open up the wonderful countryside setting of our vineyard to you. Hand-making great wine is a real craft and Rural Antics allows us to involve you in artisan past times, such as chair making, foraging and painting. Carpe diem – seize the day!
To fully enjoy a day of creativity, we want you to arrive and relax, so for most workshops we don’t ask you to bring anything, just wear casual comfortable clothing suitable for the activity ahead.
Refreshments will be served on arrival and if you’re staying for lunch then a plentiful homemade buffet and dessert are provided and of course a glass of Nottinghamshire wine! Special dietary requirements are catered for, so please mention at time of booking.
There are no extra charges for materials during the day. Sometimes our tutors offer some optional items available at the end of the day to get you started at home.
Listed below are the workshops that have a date scheduled, however there’s much more we do, so check back regularly to see what’s new, better still sign up for email updates below.
