Take time out to enjoy nature by following our trail around the vineyard and lake, less than 1km, a leisurely 30 mins stroll.
At Hanwell Wine Estate we rely on mother nature for our grape harvest each year. We allow hedgerows to grow high and grasses long for birds, hedgehogs and insects. In return they help keep the natural balance and protect our grapevines meaning we can keep man made pest control to a minimum.
The Vineyard and Nature Self Guided Trail leaflet is available free of charge from the Tasting Lodge on days we’re open, check our open times to avoid disappointment.
Afterwards take a seat on the Tasting Lodge Terrace and enjoy a glass of local wine, tea, fresh coffee and a slice of cake. The Tasting Lodge is open as a wine tasting shop October-Easter on Saturday 1-4pm and as a Café Easter-September. Check Cafe open times.
Enjoy some family or quiet time in our beautiful vineyard.
